With the setting up of Radio Sharda our younger generations will remain in touch with their culture and traditions, which have deep roots in Kashmir. By bringing the folk Kashmiri programs to air, on pattern of Zoondab, features like Machama and folk Manzil ba'ath (cradle songs) kashmiri lori, the Pir Panchal intends to link community with its moorings and enrich the culture which has its basis in Kashmiri Rishi culture.
